The retired members group meet every third Wednesday morning at 11am

We are a friendly, social group and have worked for Sandwell in a variety of locations during our working life. The group decides on activities/ social events throughout the year.
Are you coming up to retirement? For a one off fee of £15.00 you can become a retired member of UNISON. This entitles you to the same benefits you currently have as a member.
LUNCH
Christmas dinner. December 18th at Shaftesbury Casino, West Bromwich. This is always a very
popular event, limited numbers. Cost approx £30, please contact Barry Clark on 07786 198100 for

COACH TRIP
To Stratford Upon Avon, Saturday 7th December 2024. For the Christmas market, coach leaves Town
Hall, West Bromwich at 9.00am and returns at 4.30pm. Unison members £10, non-members £20.

DAYS OUT
Worcester Christmas Market, Thursday 28th November 2024.
We will travel by train, and meet up for lunch at the Crown, Crown Passage, Worcester at 12.30. If
you have a West Midlands bus pass you can travel free as far as far as Stourbridge Junction, so buy a
ticket in advance for Stourbridge Junction to Worcester Foregate Street (£9.30 return, 33% off if you
have a railcard). Keep proof of purchase, and you will be able to claim the cost from Unison branch,

QUIZ NIGHTS

WALKS
We have an active walking group; they are easy walks followed by a pub lunch. Please contact Pete
